A teacher in Obuasi, Ghana is trending. The town’s identity is inseparable from its mine, which is one of the ten largest and oldest underground gold mines in the world.
While gold is the backbone, the town is a bustling urban center with a population of approximately 104,000.

It boast of schools including secondary and tertiary level of education at the highest level across different locations.
As a result, teachers are posted from all parts of the country to obuasi to teach at different educational levels.

One Secondary School teacher however, arrived in Obuasi on a different mission despite being posted to teach SHS students.
The teacher decided to engage one of his students in a different lesson and it looked clearly the student herself was waiting for that opportunity.
